Pumpkin sauce makes a great spread for any type of toast. It is plentiful in the fall and you can jar it after you make it. Take out a large bowl and add one and a half cups of canned pumpkin. Stir in a quarter of a cup of chunky applesauce, and two tbsp. of honey. Add one and a half tsp. of lemon juice, two shakes of nutmeg, two shakes of ginger, and two shakes of cinnamon. Stir until completely combined. Use immediately or refrigeratorate for use later on.
Tip: This sauce can also be served as a side dish for leftover turkey.
