Can I make a turkey ahead of time?

Precooking Turkey

To save time, prepare your turkey ahead of time, slice the roasted turkey and place it in a foil-lined pan. Spoon chicken broth over the turkey to prevent drying. Cover with foil and refrigerate. Reheat in foil covered pan in 350°F oven until hot.

Every Thanksgiving my children call on the phone just as I'm carving the turkey. This year I decided to make the turkey ahead of time. This is just what I was seeking to help me keep it moist.
Thanks!
