Tip of the Week

Grilled Five Spice Pork Tenderloin

2 pork tenderloins
1-1/2 tsp Chinese Five Spice Powder
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp minced fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced

Rinse pork and pat dry. Sprinkle Five Spice Powder evenly over pork and rub into meat. Combine remaining ingredients in a resealable plastic bag. Add pork to bag, seal and place in refrigerator to marinate for 2 to 24 hours.

When ready to cook, place pork on a lightly oiled grill over medium-low coals. Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, turning and basting with marinade frequently until pork reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Remove from grill and let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
