Corned Beef & Cabbage

4 Pound corned beef brisket
3 carrots, cut into 2" pieces
3 Medium onions, quartered
1 Cup water
1 small head of cabbage, cut in wedges (if you have a small crockpot you might need to slice the cabbage)

Layer carrots, corned beef, and onions in crockpot. Add water, cover and cook on low 8 hours. Add cabbage to crockpot, making sure the cabbage is under the liquid; turn to high and cook 2 to 3 hours more.
