Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches are a favorite meal in my house during lent.

To add the best flavor to tomato soup, add 1 can of milk instead of water. It makes a creamy, delicious soup. Add your favorite frozen or canned vegetables, and may some rice, for a great vegetable soup.
