You say you can substitute applesauce for half the amount of vegetable oil called for in a baking recipe, but you don't say how much applesauce to use. Please specify. Thank you.

Are you suggesting to use half applesauce and half vegetable oil or are you suggesting using only applesauce with an amount equal to half of what a recipe calls for oil? For example, if a recipe called for 2 Tablespoons of oil would we use 1 Tablespoon of applesauce and one tablespoon of oil OR would we use just 1 tablespoon of applesauce?
