Because most recipes call for salt and pepper seasoning, keep a shaker filled with a mixture of both to save time. Use a ratio of 3/4 salt and 1/4 pepper.
i tried making my own s/p ribs today for the 1st time. i heated the ground sea salt and ground black pepper in a dry wok and coted the ribs, left to marinate in fridge for 4 hrs. i found the ration 3:1 too salty and will be using 2:1 in future. they were very yummy all the same.
I was looking for the salt/pepper ratio.
