Love bacon? Hate the greasy mess involved after you fry it up in a pan? Is the taste of microwave cooked bacon too dry and bland? Look no further than your oven! This simple technique takes the same amount of time and produces a perfect pork piece everytime.
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper of alumninum foil directly onto a cookie sheet. Lay the individual strips of bacon directly onto the pan. Bake in the oven for fifteen to twenty minutes, or until the bacon has reached your desired level of crispness. Transfer the strips to a paper towel lined plate and blot any remaining grease away. (There should be less than with traditional pan fried bacon.)
Use this process for cooking bacon to add to recipes, as part of breakfast, for sandwiches, oor any other time in which the use of bacon is suitable.
