Preventing Burned Meat Loaf

Prevent meat loaf from sticking to the bottom of your baking dish by putting a slice or two of bacon in the bottom of the pan. If your meat loaf is burning on top, you may want to reduce the oven temperature. A 1 1/2 pound meat loaf gets perfectly done at 350 degrees for 70 to 90 minutes. If your recipe requires a higher temperature, consider covering with foil for the last 30 minutes of baking time.
