Tip of the Week

1/4 pound butter, softened
1 cup flour
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine butter, flour, and cream cheese; mix well to form dough, then divide dough to make 24 balls. Press dough balls into mini muffin pans. Mix egg, brown sugar, vanilla and chopped nuts and fill each mini muffin cup approximately 3/4 full with mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool in pan for 5 to 10 minutes then remove to wire rack to cool completely. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
