Easy Crock Pot Lasagna Recipe

Love the taste of homemade lasagna, but don't have the time to spend in the kitchen? Consider this easy and delicious crock pot lasagna recipe!

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup water
1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese + extra
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 whole egg
2 Tablespoons fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
6 uncooked lasagna noodles

Begin by browning the hamburger meat in a skillet. Add and cook the onion until it becomes translucent. Toss in the garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add the jar of spaghetti sauce and water and mix well.

In a separate bowl, mix the cheeses (mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta) and egg together well. Stir in the parsley.

Spray the inside of the crock pot with non-stick cooking spray or use a crock pot liner. Pour one cup of the sauce and meat mixture into the crock pot. Place half the noodles over the sauce and top with half of the cheese mixture. Repeat with the remaining sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture.

Cook on low for four to five hours, or until the noodles are done. (For best results, do not cook on high.) Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and allow it to melt. Enjoy!
